CHINESE FOOD




"Chinese Foods are the most popular dishes all over the world.This is because they are not spicy and have lots of vegetables which are good for health.Mostly chicken and
sea food is used."







HOT SAUCE BEEF




INGREDIENTS:


  • ½ Kilo Beef(cut in small peices)

  • 2-2½ Cups Chicken Bone Soup

  • ¾ Cup Tomato Ketchup

  • ½ Cup Vinegar

  • 1 tsp Sugar

  • Red Chilli Powder to taste

  • ¼ Cup Oil

  • 2-2½ tbsp Corn Flour(paste with ½ cup water)

  • Green Chillies few(cut in halves and with seeds removed)

  • 1 tsp Ordinary Salt

  • 1-1½ tsp Chinese Salt


    METHOD:


    1. Firstly boil beef with salt till tender.

    2. When beef is done,heat oil in a pan and fry the boiled beef.

    3. Then add sugar and mix well.

    4. Now toss in the green chillies,chinese salt,and red chilli powder and mix well.

    5. Add tomato ketchup and vinegar.

    6. Then last of all add the chicken soup.

    7. After 5 to 6 boils,add corn flour and stir continuously.

    8. Serve hot with fried rice.



    TIPS:


  • If needed 1 capsicum and 1 cauliflower can be cut in cubes and can be added.





    CHICKEN CHOW MEIN




    INGREDIENTS:


  • Egg Noodles 1 Packet

  • Chicken 3 to 4 Peices

  • Carrots 2 to 3 Peices

  • Cabbages ¼

  • Chinese Salt 1-1&3189 tsp

  • Corn Flour ½ Cup(mixed with ¼ cup water)

  • Sugar 1 tsp

  • Green Chillies 6 to 8 peices chopped

  • Peas ¼ Kilo(optional)

  • Soya Sauce 2 tbsp

  • French Beans 8 to 10 peices(optional)

  • Capsicum 1(cut thick slices)

  • Oil ½ cup

  • Bean Sprout ¾ Cup

  • Onion 2 Medium Size

  • Chicken Soup 2 Cups

  • Ordinary salt 1 tsp


    METHOD:


    1. Firstly remove chicken meat from bones and let the bones boil for soup.

    2. Cut the chicken peices in stripes

    3. Cut all the vegetables in stripes only chillies should be finely chopped.

    4. For noodles,boil 10 cups of water with ordinary salt.

    5. When water boils,add noodles and cook for 15 minutes.Then remove.

    6. Make a paste of corn flour with water.

    7. Heat oil in a pan.

    8. Add chicken peices and fry.

    9. Then add in the onions,cabbage,peas,beans,carrots,capsicum one after other and mix properly.

    10. Then add chinese salt,ordinary salt,chopped chillies and soya sauce.

    11. Cook for other two minutes.

    12. Then add chicken soup and then add corn flour paste and stir continuously.

    13. Mix with noodles and serve hot.



    TIPS:


  • If needed,put the noodles in a tray and put the gravy on top.





    CHICKEN CHOP SUEY




    INGREDIENTS:


  • Egg Noodles 1 Packet

  • Chicken 3 to 4 Peices

  • Cabbage ½ medium size

  • Carrots 2 to 3 Peices

  • Bean Sprouts 1 cup

  • Corn Flour 4 tbsp(made into paste)

  • Soup 2 Cups

  • Chinese salt 1-1½

  • Eggs 3

  • Oil ¼ cup

  • Green Chillies 4 to 6 Peices

  • Capsicum 1 to 2 Peices

  • Turnip 1 to 2 Peices

  • Ordinary Salt 1 tsp

  • Liver ¼ Kilo


    METHOD:


    1. Firstly cut chicken and liver in cubes and let the bones boil for the soup.

    2. Cut the carrots and cabbage in stripes.

    3. Beat the eggs with ½ tsp of ordinary salt and make a plain omelette.

    4. Cut the omellete in bits or cubes.

    5. Heat oil and fry the chicken with ordinary salt.

    6. Add in the vegetables starting with cabbage.

    7. Lastly add capsicum and add chinese salt.

    8. Then add soup,soya sauce and lastly add corn flour and mix continuously.

    9. Half boil noodles with 2 tsp of ordinary salt.

    10. Take out ¾ cup of noodles and remain to full boil for 10 minutes.

    11. Deep fry a few bunches of noodles until crisp(once when a bunch is put in oil,do not turn till firm)

    12. First put bunches of noodles in a plate and press a little.

    13. Then add the gravy on top.

    14. Sprinkle the peices of omellete and boiled liver.

    15. On the outer side sprinkle boiled noodles for decoration.





    SWEET AND SOUR PRAWN BALLS




    INGREDIENTS:


    FOR BATTER:


  • Prawns ¼ Kilo(cut finely)

  • Eggs 3

  • Pepper Powder ½ tsp

  • Corn Flour ½ Cup

  • Baking Powder 1tsp

  • Ordinary Salt 1 tsp

  • Flour ½ Cup

  • Chinese Salt 1 tsp


    FOR SAUCE:


  • Soup Of Chicken Bones 3 Cups

  • Vinegar ¼ Cup

  • Sugar ¼ Cup

  • Corn Flour ¼ Cup

  • Oil ½ Cup

  • Onion 1 Medium Size

  • Cauliflower ½

  • Ketchup ¾ Cup

  • Ordinary Salt ½ tsp

  • Carrots 1 to 2 Peices

  • Capsicum 2 Peices


    METHOD:


    1. Firstly remove chicken from the bones and let the bones boil for the soup.

    2. For batter,beat eggs well and then add ordinary salt,chinese salt, corn flour,baking powder and flour.

    3. Now add prawns and mix well.

    4. Lift small quantiy of batter in spoon and deep fry the balls.

    5. For sauce heat oil and fry each vegetable adding one after other.

    6. Then add soup,Ketchup,vinegar and both salts.

    7. Before serving,heat again the sauce and the balls and cook for 2 minutes.

    8. Then add corn flour paste and stir continuously.

    9. Serve hot with fried rice.



    TIPS:


  • Instead of prawns,chicken could be added.

  • Vinegar and ketchup can be added to taste.
